The company was created in 1996 and operated as ERTEC (Pty) Ltd until 2016 when it was acquired and became 51% black owned. Upon acquisition the company was renamed Khanya Engineered Projects (Pty) Ltd with the registration number 1996/005488/07.
Since 1996, Khanya has built its reputation in providing Mechanical and Electrical contracting and plant maintenance and operation solutions in the water and wastewater sector.
Khanya is proud to be a contractor of choice for many municipalities and water boards countrywide when the need to design, construct, operate and maintain water and wastewater treatment infrastructure arises.
With multiple CIDB grading of 7ME PE, 6CE PE, we continue to bring solutions as we partner with our clients in their endeavour to fast-track water treatment infrastructure which in turn benefits the people of South Africa.
